Common questions
Do my codes expire?
No. Easy QR makes static codes: the link, text or Wi-Fi details are stored in the code itself, not on a server. They keep working even if you delete the app. To change what a code says, make a new one.
What size should I print?
PNG exports carry 300 dpi, so 1024 px prints about 3.4 inches (8.7 cm) wide, 2048 px about 6.8 inches and 4096 px about 13.6 inches. SVG scales to any size, as do PDFs of QR codes without a frame; framed QR codes and barcodes go into the PDF as a 4096 px image. Keep QR codes at least 2 cm (0.8 in) wide, leave a white margin around them, and test the printed code before printing many.
My code says “May not scan”
Easy QR test-scans every code before you export it. If the test fails, it says why. Try a darker code color or a lighter background, a smaller logo, or shorter content, or tap Reset on the Style screen to go back to the plain code.
Where do I get a UPC or EAN number?
Easy QR turns a number you already have into a barcode and adds the check digit. Products sold in stores usually need numbers licensed from GS1 (gs1.org). For your own shelf labels or inventory, Code 128 takes letters and numbers.
Restore Easy QR Pro on a new iPhone
Sign in with the same Apple ID, open Settings in Easy QR and tap Restore purchases, or tap Restore on the upgrade screen. You don't need an account.
Cancel a subscription
Open the iPhone Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Easy QR. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or period ends. Deleting the app does not cancel it. Refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Delete my data
Swipe a code left in Library and tap Delete to remove it. Deleting the app removes everything Easy QR stores on your iPhone. For analytics or crash records, email us; see the privacy policy.
