Email support@setout.ai. Tell us what happened, your app version and your iOS or iPadOS version. Contact support at the bottom of Tracks' settings fills these in for you. Please don't send passwords, payment details, or your intention or screenshots with private information unless you choose to.
Start a ride
Tap the ride length beside Depart to pick a length, or Custom to set your own, then tap Depart. Pause stops the clock and Continue picks it up again. To finish early, press and hold the end control on the sill. When time is up, the train arrives and the ride counts toward today's focus.
Breaks
In the ride length sheet, turn on Breaks and set Short, Long and Long break after. When a ride arrives, tap Break to rest or Skip break to go on.
Sound
Sound starts off. Tap the sound control on the sill to turn it on. In settings (the levers on the sill), set the volume, choose the ride sound, and turn the train, music and weather on or off on their own. If your headphones disconnect, sound turns off until you tap it again.
Arrival alert
In settings, turn on Arrival alert and allow notifications. If it shows Notifications are off in Settings, tap it and allow notifications for Tracks. Delivery is up to iOS and your Focus and notification settings.
Block apps during a ride
In settings, turn on Block apps, tap Choose apps, allow Screen Time access and pick the apps. While a ride runs, a picked app opens to a Tracks screen; tap Close, or pause the ride in Tracks to use it. Pausing, ending or arriving lifts the block. If it shows Allow Screen Time for Tracks in Settings, allow it in iPhone Settings → Screen Time.
Keep your focus totals
Your totals are saved only on this device. There is no account or sync between devices, so removing the app deletes them and Tracks cannot recover them.
Common questions
Do I need an account?
No. Tracks has no sign-in. The timer and the journey work without an account.
Does Tracks send my data online?
Your rides, totals, intention and app picks stay on your device; there is no account or cloud sync. Tracks sends usage events to Mixpanel (the app opened, and a ride departed, arrived or ended, with its length) and crash reports to Sentry. They carry random identifiers, never your name, the advertising identifier or your intention. See the privacy policy.
Is Tracks free?
Yes. Tracks has no subscription and no in-app purchase.
Does Tracks work on Android?
No. Tracks is for iPhone and iPad.
